I know, I know, Frank and I moved into our new home back in March and I'm just now getting a house tour up! To say that I've been busy is an understatement....and I really hate that term "busy" because it means I don't have time for other people. But between some major upcoming changes in my business, including starting a podcast, training a new puppy before she gets huge, airbnb hosting, and a constant changing schedule for Frank, life has been quite the roller coaster lately! I'm happy to say things are slowing down though! Which brings me to our house tour! We love this house and I have especially enjoyed turning this house into a home over the past few months. You may not believe it, but this house used to be filled with junk and was not even live-able.
We've put a lot of love and care into it, and are finally happy to be able to call this beautiful house our home for the next couple of years.
For starters, we have a wrap around porch in the front, with a cute Great Dane puppy to greet you!
When you walk in, the first thing you'll see are the stairs going up to the main level. Down to the left of the stairs also when you walk in is the door to our garage, and another door to our basement and laundry room...hopefully one day we will turn the basement into a sanctuary for guests when they come to visit, but that's up in the air since this more than likely won't be our permanent home.
The house has 2 bedrooms, and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The half bath is on the main floor and the only rule in our house is that you must sign the bathroom guest book.
On the main level, along with our couches is our pup's own dog corner ;)
We have 3 sets of stairs in our house....so a lot of stairs! It's actually been a good thing for our older dog, Tyrza. The top set of stairs leads up to the two bedrooms upstairs.
Our guest bedroom has its own attached private bathroom...we actually have this room on Airbnb, and have been able to meet so many amazing guests!
Come stay with us! We love guests and are surprisingly booked about 80% of the time! Having people here makes our house feel so home-y, and we love meeting new people around the world.
And of course....my favorite room in our house! Our bedroom is our haven. I have enjoyed making it our own. Because I'm home probably 90% of my time, and I work in our room, it's important to me to have a clean, functional house. And our bedroom is just that. Simple, but I love it.
Can you tell that this is my favorite part of the house?
Overall, we are so excited to be living here, and so excited to have made this our first home purchase. Even though this won't be our permanent home, we look forward to making this house lived in and loved and cannot wait to see what the future holds for us between these four walls.
