5 Ways Confidence Can Transform Your Business
Let's be honest, it's hard to really be confident in our work sometimes...am I right? Comparison is the thief of joy...but, getting past the comparison can really help boost confidence in yourself and business...but howwww? Trust me when I say when you're confident, it shows; and when you're insecure, it shows, but I'm about to help you combat your insecurities and tell you just how a little bit of confidence can truly transform your business...
1. Potential clients can tell when you are confident about your work, and feel more comfortable booking you.
Let's be honest, it's easy to tell when someone is insecure or doesn't believe in themselves. I would never go to a hair dresser if I asked them to dye my hair and they didn't make me feel as if they were confident in what services they could offer me. Confident people shine and stand out!
2. Clients trust you more and are more willing to refer you
When you show that you are confident in your work, your clients will be more likely to refer you to their friends and family...people only refer people they know and trust, and believe are capable of completing the task at hand.
3. You are able to charge what you're worth.
I think pricing is something most business owners struggle with. We never think we are really worth what we charge, and if we do think that, we think that people won't pay for our services. But one thing I've learned over the years is that if people feel that you are confident in your service and your prices, they won't even bat an eye to what you charge and in fact, will be happy to pay it.
4. You are able to only offer your services in areas you know you will excel
Going back to my example of a hair dresser. A confident hair dresser will be honest with you and tell you if they don't perm or dye hair. Why? Because they know what they excel at and want you to have the best experience. When you are confident in your services, you know where you excel, so the services you offer will be the very best of your ability.
5. You perform better because you yourself believe in your product
When you believe in yourself and your work, your clients trust you and believe you. They won't even question what you do because when you are confident, they will be confident in you that you will be giving them the best experience/care/and all that you have to offer.
So there you have it! I've worked long and hard at trying to not compare myself to other people in the industry, and truly staying in my own lane. When it comes to my work, I want my clients to know for a fact that they can trust me and I am an expert in my own field.
